We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Engineer for a 12-month remote contract supporting a retail client. This role focuses primarily on SFCC development with secondary responsibilities in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Candidates with experience using Splunk for performance monitoring in an e-commerce environment will stand out.

What You'll Do:
--- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefronts, APIs, and integrations.
--- Enhance e-commerce functionality using Business Manager, Page Designer, and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
--- Optimize product catalogs, cart and checkout flows, and personalized shopping experiences.
--- Integrate third-party systems for payments, inventory, and order fulfillment.
--- Support SFMC features including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
--- Create AMPscript, SQL queries, and API-based solutions to power personalized campaigns and abandoned cart workflows.
--- Ensure smooth data exchange and customer engagement tracking across SFCC and SFMC.

What You'll Bring:
--- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
--- 10+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
--- Expertise in SFCC development, headless commerce architecture, and API integrations
--- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
--- Experience with A/B testing, personalization tools, and e-commerce analytics
--- Understanding of Agile development, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
--- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

Bonus Points For:
--- 8+ years of experience using Splunk (Enterprise, Cloud, ITSI, Retail Analytics)
--- Monitoring e-commerce transactions, optimizing site performance, and setting up security alerts in Splunk
