Job Description:
DescriptionThe Design Director will lead the creative direction
of interior book designs, with a focus on four-color books,
including cookbooks, lifestyle books, and other highly-designed
books. This role will support the Flatiron and Celadon imprints,
with additional support for other imprints as needed. This role
will work collaboratively across groups; manage and delegate
effectively; motivate staff. The Design Director must organize and
create suitable designs for given material that meets the needs of
authors, production managers and editors. This position requires
organizational skills, time management, creative and original
thinking. Problem solving with complex material, and good
communication skills.

This role will have an annual salary of $115,000 - $120,000.
