Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of RRP Governance and
Reporting, the Portfolio Manager is a strategic professional
responsible for the management of a portfolio of projects,
programs, and initiatives enabling delivery of target state
commitments. Accountable for managing multiple teams indirectly and
ensuring timely submission of Citi's Recovery (Citigroup, CBNA) and
Resolution (IDI, 165(d)) plans. They will also be responsible for
supporting the Head of RRP Governance and Reporting to develop
portfolio management strategy, annual planning, and establishing
and managing governance. Excellent communication skills required in
order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Required to
apply Portfolio management and Finance subject matter expertise to
lead the business function.Responsibilities:
- Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage
their alignment to business goals.
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day
activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
- Manages the design, implementation and roll out of key recovery
and resolution planning target state initiatives.
- Manages working groups, leads and facilitates program
governance forums.
- Develops, presents and implements proposals for target state
initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
- Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk
disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a
timely basis.
- Directs the identification of risks which impact program
delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and
executed when necessary.
- Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of
cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with
Senior Management.
- Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues,
including those outside established programs of work.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made,
demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation
and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving
compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to
Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal
behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing
and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Develop and manage consistent Board and regulatory reporting
across all RRP commitments.
- Manage portfolio management systems and adhere to Citi's
Program management policy.Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial
experience.
- Subject matter expertise in corporate treasury, risk
management, financial regulations, project management, or similar
fields.
- Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked for
delivering large, strategic cross-functional projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking
skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Compliance Management: Knowledge and experience in ensuring
compliance with regulatory requirements as well as experience
representing large financial institutions (preferably GSIBs) with
regulatory bodies (e.g., OCC, FDIC, FRB, PRA, EBA, etc.).
- Understanding of Regulatory Environment: Deep knowledge of
financial regulations and requirements, particularly those relating
to recovery and resolution planning.
- Capital and Liquidity Management Knowledge: Should understand
the complexities of capital and liquidity management.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with developing
Board and Executive Management team presentations.
- CFA, CAPM, PMP, and/or MBA are a plus.
- Leadership qualities with a passion for talent development and
team building.Education:
- Masters degree in finance and Economics preferred.Job Family
