Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join the culinary
team at Chef Daniel Boulud Restaurants. The ideal candidate will
possess a strong passion for culinary excellence and a commitment
to delivering exceptional dining experiences.Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of
menu items to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain efficient
kitchen operations and implement innovative ideas.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize
food costs.
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve exceptional
results and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation
standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source
high-quality ingredients.Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume culinary
environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, French, and/or Spanish is a plus.About
