Job Description:

Join our team as a server or server assistant at a new fine dining restaurant. We seek highly motivated individuals with strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills. Key responsibilities include providing outstanding dining experiences, maintaining high quality standards, working well in a fast-paced environment, and communicating effectively with staff and guests. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of upscale/fine dining experience, extensive knowledge of food, spirits, wine, and service, and be dedicated to our customers, brand, and team. Additional qualifications include previous work experience, customer service orientation, problem-solving skills, and flexibility in scheduling. An open call will be held at our Le Basque Restaurant location on Tuesday, October 29, and Wednesday, October 30, from 12:00noon - 3:00pm. R--sum--s are required for consideration.

• Provide exceptional customer service, greet guests, take orders, and offer menu recommendations.
• Maintain high quality standards and follow company policies and NYC health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests.
• Handle customer complaints and problems with a positive attitude.
• Be dedicated to our customers, brand, and team.
• Server candidates require 3+ years of upscale/fine dining experience and extensive knowledge of food, spirits, wine, and service.
• Server assistants require 2+ years of upscale/fine dining experience.
  • Previous work experience in a restaurant environment preferred.
  • Customer service oriented, attentive, patient, and responsible.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and basic math skills.
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety, and ability to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Flexible and open availability.
