Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Seafood Order
Writer to join our team at Whole Foods Market in Chelsea. As a
Seafood Order Writer, you will be responsible for ordering and
replenishing seafood products, maintaining inventory levels, and
providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities
- Replenish seafood products in a timely and efficient manner to
meet customer demands.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent
stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure all seafood products are properly stored and rotated to
maintain freshness and quality.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide excellent customer
service and promote seafood products.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate
inventory levels and resolve any stock discrepancies.
- Participate in visual merchandising to create an appealing
seafood display.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a
positive customer experience.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
with health and safety regulations.Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role or in the seafood
industry.
- Knowledge of seafood products and their characteristics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to
changing priorities.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating
a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.Why
