Physical Therapy department by joining our Patient Access Services
Team!*Full Time Opportunity!**The following schedule is REQUIRED
for the position ** *Monday - Thursday (10am-6:30pm), Friday
(9am-5:30pm)** _*In person position - Lynbrook
location*_*\*Trainees welcome!!**\*\*Medical office experience
preferred, PT medical office experience is a strong
plus!**Responsibilities:** Heavy phone work* Efficiently answer
patient inquiries by providing general information, scheduling,
rescheduling, or canceling their appointments, etc. via phone*
Document all accounts, update patient demographics, and create
medical records* Ability to build rapport with patients* Must
maintain a high level of professionalism and quality customer
service* Coordinate with the team working through a checklist
calling patients to schedule appointments across all Long Island
rehab locations.*Qualifications:** HS Diploma /GED Required;
College Degree Preferred* Previous experience in customer service
and/or a call center is *required*.* Healthcare background is a
strong plus* Interest or background in Physical
Therapy/Rehabilitation is a plus* Bilingual Spanish (Preferred not
required)* Ability to prioritize, multitask, and management time
effectively* Must be reliable and dependable* Must be able to work
in a fast-paced and growing environment* Must have a positive,
welcoming, and a professional demeanor* Ability to work within a
team and independently* Excellent written and verbal communication
skills a must*Dress Code:** *Navy blue scrubs REQUIRED (business
casual attire permitted during training period - approx. 3
weeks)*_\*\* three weeks of paid in-person call center training,
will be provided before starting on our phones.\*\*_This job
