Team members enjoy competitive salaries, exceptional medical benefits, and generous PTO.We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our Orlin & Cohen team as an Authorization Representative.Ideally candidates have knowledge of authorization rules and regulations as well as healthcare and insurance experience._*Full-Time Opportunity! *_* _*Monday - Friday (8:30am-5pm)*__*\*Fully IN-PERSON Position\**__*\*Previous insurance and authorization experience REQUIRED *__*\*Experience with radiology CPT codes, medical background, Insurance knowledge preferred*__*Authorization Representative*_Obtain authorizations for several departments and medical procedures._*Candidate responsibilities include:*_ - Initiates request for MRI Injection Authorization from commercial carriers. - Updates and records authorization related information in our system. - Perform clinical reviews of authorization requests. - Provides accurate and complete documentation to approve MRI Injections requests. - Collaborate with applicable staff to coordinate patient care. - Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulation._*Candidate Attributes:*_* *Problem Solving Skills: *You have a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.* *Organizational skills: *You have exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills that will aid in account follow-up._*Required experience and Qualifications:*_ - High School Diploma or equivalent GED. - Minimum of one year healthcare or insurance office experience required. - Prior Authorization experience preferred - Excellent oral, written, computer and customer service skills.\*The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
